Living in Caulfeild means enjoying ocean views, tall evergreens, and stunning West Vancouver scenery — but also dealing with unreliable traditional internet. Copper lines, dense trees, and steep terrain cause dropouts and slow speeds daily.
Starlink is an incredible solution, but only when installed correctly. A poorly mounted dish or blocked line of sight can drastically reduce performance.
Starlink delivers high-speed, low-latency internet ideal for Caulfeild, Olde Caulfeild, Cypress Park Estates, and nearby communities.
However, its performance depends on professional installation, including:
- Proper dish placement
- Obstruction checks
- Secure mounting
- Weatherproof cable routing
Without these, Starlink can underperform — even in ideal conditions.
DIY Starlink setups in Caulfeild often face issues such as:
• Obstructed line of sight from trees
• Incorrect mounting angles
• Roof damage from poor fastening
• Exposed cabling causing water intrusion
• Slow speeds, packet loss, and outages
A professional Starlink installer ensures:
• Correct dish elevation and direction
• Clean, weatherproof cable entry
• Safe roof, wall, or pole mounting
• Maximum speed, stability, and uptime
You get reliable internet from day one — with no guesswork or weak signals.

What Is Starlink and How Does It Work?
Starlink is a next-generation satellite internet system built by SpaceX. Unlike traditional satellite internet using high-orbit satellites, Starlink uses a low Earth orbit (LEO) network, delivering:
- Faster speeds
- Lower latency
- Less buffering
- More reliability in rural and coastal areas
For Caulfeild residents, this means:
- Smooth video calls
- 4K streaming
- Online gaming
- Cloud-based work
- Strong smart home connectivity
A typical Starlink kit includes:
- Starlink dish
- Starlink router
- Power supply
- Cables & mounting hardware
A professional installer ensures every component is placed, sealed, and configured for peak performance.
